Description:
Ling Hu-Chong (Jackie Lui Chung-Yin), the senior disciple of the Huashan Sect, is by nature wild and unrestrained, forming a sharp contrast with the rigid and stern sect leader Yue Bu-Qun (Wong Wai). Ling Hu-Chong and Yue Bu-Qun's daughter, his young junior sister Yue Ling-Shan, have been childhood sweethearts, and everyone believes that Ling Hu-Chong will one day inherit the leadership of the Huashan Sect. Although Ling Hu-Chong has been a member of the Huashan Sect for many years, his martial arts have always been mediocre, until a chance encounter with the sword master Feng Qing-Yang, who bestows upon him the world-renowned Dugu Nine Swords, after which Ling Hu-Chong's swordsmanship improves dramatically. Show more The narrow-minded Yue Bu-Qun discovers that Ling Hu-Chong's martial arts have surged and threaten to surpass his own, and secretly grows deeply displeased with him. Meanwhile, Lin Ping-Zhi's (Timmy Ho Bo-Sang) family is massacred because they possess the Sunflower Manual that everyone in the martial world covets, and he alone escapes. In order to obtain the Sunflower Manual, Yue Bu-Qun takes Ping-Zhi into the Huashan Sect, ostensibly to protect him but actually with hidden motives. Ling Hu-Chong is expelled from the sect on Yue Bu-Qun's pretext, and even his young junior sister, with whom he had always shared deep feelings, turns to Lin Ping-Zhi's embrace. Heartbroken and disillusioned, Ling Hu-Chong begins to wander the martial world alone.
