Description:
Decades ago, horse bandits ran rampant around Panyu. Though the Ten Tigers of the bandits were wiped out, the gold and silver they had plundered was never recovered, and legends of buried treasure in the area have been passed down ever since. One day, a Hong Kong auction house announced it would soon auction the dog head—one of the twelve bronze zodiac heads from the Dashuifa fountain of the Old Summer Palace—and the news became the talk of the city. At the same time, during the expansion of the largest zoo in the country, located in Panyu, the dog head was unexpectedly unearthed! Show more For a time, the real and fake dog heads caused a huge uproar. After university professor Zhao Xuewen (Wu Fung) went to Panyu to authenticate it, he discovered that the one unearthed in Panyu was indeed the genuine dog head. It turned out the legend of treasure was not unfounded after all, and the other bronze zodiac heads were very likely buried nearby as well!
Hong Kong tycoon He Zhengxiong had always been devoted to protecting national cultural relics. Upon learning the news, he provided funding to help Xuewen search for the other missing bronze zodiac heads. His grandson Junfeng (Benny Chan) was exceptionally bright, well versed in astronomy and geography, and possessed a sharp detective mind. His grandfather hoped he would stay on the mainland to inherit the family business, while his mother wanted him to return to Hong Kong to develop his career. To avoid offending either side, Junfeng temporarily went with his good friend Jianxing (Michael Tong) to work at the zoo. The group of young people generated plenty of laughs at work, and Jianxing even fell in love with the zoo's acrobat Lu Dan (Linda Chung). Zhengxiong asked Junfeng to assist Zhao Xuewen in searching for the other missing bronze zodiac heads, and so Junfeng began his treasure-hunting journey.
