Description:
Snow swirls through the freezing air. Huang Yaoshi, the Eastern Heretic (David Chiang), drinks alone, flinging wine across his sword—and in that flash of steel, a storm of bloodshed seems ready to break. The greatest martial arts manual under heaven, The Nine Yin Manual, ignites strife across the martial world; causes and consequences entwine, sparking one fierce battle after another. After the Huashan Contest, the struggle over the manual seemed to subside, yet Feng Heng (Fiona Leung), the holy maiden of the Jurchen Jin state's shamanic sect, is drawn into the martial world's conflicts because her sect's ritual artifact is linked to the manual. Show more In a moment of peril, Huang Yaoshi saves Feng Heng, and mutual affection takes deep root between them. To save Feng Heng, Huang Yaoshi is poisoned with a deadly toxin, forcing Feng Heng to trick the manual out of Zhou Botong (Liu Kai-Chi)—but this draws the Western Venom Ouyang Feng (Law Lok-Lam), who covets the book for himself. Chen Xuanfeng (Julian Cheung), the senior disciple of the Iron Palm Sect, and Mei Chaofeng (Emily Kwan), the chief female disciple of White Camel Mountain, begin as bitter enemies, yet by a twist of fate they forge an unbreakable bond and both become beloved disciples of Huang Yaoshi. But Ouyang Feng still broods over the manual and, stopping at nothing, takes Mei Chaofeng hostage to force Chen Xuanfeng to steal it. Caught between his master and his beloved, Chen Xuanfeng is torn by endless conflict
