Description:
A year after Lan Ping's (Tsui Tsz-Shan) boyfriend Xu Feng (Sammuel Chan Kin-Fung) goes missing, constable Lu Tao (Bosco Wong) discovers that Feng is in fact already dead — and that the person who claimed the body was none other than Ping herself! Before long, Feng suddenly reappears, making the whole affair even more baffling and leaving the feelings just beginning to stir between Ping and Feng hopelessly tangled.
It all turns out to be tied to a scheme hatched by Ping's stepmother and a swindler's plot to seize the family fortune. Show more Tao launches a series of investigations, narrowly escaping death again and again and even losing his job over it, but thankfully he has Yin Yue-Mei (Yeung Sze-Kei), who grew up with him, at his side to encourage him. Meanwhile, after Ping and Feng marry, members of the family meet with misfortune one after another.
