Немного странно, что на главную роль "идеальной жены" с Материка была выбрана Линда Лю, а не более именитые, на тот момент, Лили Ли (скромная девушка из библиотеки и на сцене) или та же Вайолет Пань, хотя уважаемому Дину Шек было, конечно же, виднее (как и фамилию своему герою он меняет, почему то, на "Сэнд"). Только казалось, что не хватает локаций, как тут же возникает чудесная Испания. В целом, блестящая комедия золотого периода 80х.
