Description:
Zhou Yi (Goo Wing-Fei) holds a high office — she is the deputy mayor of Yunxin. The son of the deputy governor, Li Xiao-Bing, is suspected of smuggling and lands in prison, and the heavy burden of pulling strings for him naturally falls on her shoulders, threatening to crush Zhou Yi. Her work is a mess, and her home life has descended into open war: one day she comes home and her husband, Xiang Bo-Yuan, demands a divorce. The next morning, Xiang Bo-Yuan is dead, and this bizarre death fills the elder daughter, Xiang Qing (Chen Jin), with deep suspicion.
Ma Wei-Min (Bai Zhi-Di), deputy director of the public security bureau, keenly senses that Xiang Bo-Yuan's death is not so simple, and sends Sima Ke (Chen Bao-Guo) to infiltrate the Xiang family under a false identity. As the investigation deepens, Sima Ke discovers that the general manager of Liji Company is inextricably linked to Li Xiao-Bing's embezzlement case.
