Only Wuji survives, and he learns the Drunken Fist from a drunken beggar.
When Wuji grows up, he goes out into the jianghu and encounters many things. First he is drawn into the affair of robbing Cixi's tomb and clashes with men of the evil faction. Then, to avenge his father, he kills Lian Bixie. Show more Wuji gets the chance to take the Sword Immortal as his master and learn martial arts, and he meets Xian'er and Zuiwa. He becomes a close friend of the Sword Immortal's son, Little Sword Immortal. Among these four young heroes there unfolds a moving contest of love, weaving a tangled web of passion, hatred, gratitude and grudge, of heroes whose spirit falters and of tender feelings that run deep.
Wuji meets danger again and again. In the jianghu he goes through every kind of trial and tempers an unshakable character. At the same time, being a man of justice, great benevolence and courage, he wins the high regard of the orthodox martial world and also the favor of the Demon Immortal's daughter. Yet he bears a heavy vendetta and is bent on killing his father's murderer with his own hands, so that he can hardly attend to love, which adds no small torment to his heart!
