They drove off bandits and their fame spread far and wide; people called the three Yu sisters the Three Sea Heroines. One day, the three sisters came upon the bandit Bao Tie-Zui trying to seize the chickens of poultry vendors Zhang Bing-Sheng and Uncle Li Er, and the three frightened Tie-Zui away. Bing-Sheng was gentle and refined, and only because his family was poor did he take Uncle Li Er's money to become a poultry vendor; Su-Qiu secretly grew fond of him. Show more Before long, Bing-Sheng again had his chickens stolen by the local bullies Jin Kai and Jin Diao, and he began to think of ending his life. Fortunately, Yu Jie and his three daughters rescued him. Father Yu and his daughters devised a plan: the third daughter disguised herself as a man and took the chickens back from the Jin brothers. The two brothers then sought out their younger brother Jin Hua to stand up for them, and the three brothers, together with Tie-Zui, fought fiercely with the Yu sisters. In the confusion, Tie-Zui carried Bing-Sheng off. The three sisters tracked them to the Xianle Dance Hall, where they defeated the bully Chen Da-Gang and the Jin brothers. Tie-Zui had taken Bing-Sheng to the Jin family stockade, and Jin Hua, unable to stand by while his two elder brothers beat Bing-Sheng savagely, turned against them. The three sisters pursued them to the Jin family stockade but fell into its traps. Fortunately, Yu Jie arrived in time, and with Jin Hua's help they destroyed the Jin family stockade. Su-Qiu and Bing-Sheng, their love finally fulfilled, became husband and wife.
