Description:
When two people love each other, they somehow end up as sworn enemies, with both families scheming by any means to break the lovebirds apart. But as the wedding day approaches, the couple pushes past every obstacle, ready to risk everything for love.
Xiao-Xiong (A B) is the head of the accounting department at a factory, and he and the general manager's secretary Xiao-Xia (Shen Yan) plan to hold their wedding banquet right at the factory. The drunken mechanic A Ding (Ling Fung) goes to the kitchen looking for a drink and accidentally pours a whole can of drain cleaner into the soup, poisoning all the guests. Show more The beautiful wedding is ruined and has to be postponed.
Xiao-Xiong was supposed to hand the wedding funds to A Ding, but the womanizing Alan (Lee Tao-Hung) passes the money to the general manager's son-in-law Su Da-Guang (Fong Ching), a compulsive gambler. Su Da-Guang loses every last cent of the funds at the gambling table, so Xiao-Xiong has to withdraw his coworkers' salaries as an emergency measure. But a whole stack of cash is snatched away by a little dog, and, incredibly, the same Su Da-Guang picks it up and gambles it away again. Chasing the money, Xiao-Xiong gets trapped in a dog kennel and does not return all night.
Meanwhile, the restaurant waitress Xia Lu-Ting (Zhen Xiu-Zhen), who has feelings for Xiao-Xiong, comes to his dormitory. In the dim light of the room, Lu-Ting mistakes Alan for Xiao-Xiong, and the two end up sleeping together. The next day Xiao-Xiong rushes back to the factory, but still misses the second wedding.
Seven months later, Xiao-Xiong and Xiao-Xia are preparing for their third wedding when Lu-Ting and her mother suddenly burst in. Lu-Ting claims Xiao-Xiong is the father of the child she is carrying, and Xiao-Xiong flatly denies it. When Lu-Ting describes the man's bedroom habits — howling like a wolf and leg cramps — Alan, watching the scene from the sidelines, realizes that the man who slept with Lu-Ting that night was him. From then on, his coworkers think Xiao-Xiong is a philandering wolf, and the cowardly Alan dares not step forward to admit the truth. Xiao-Xia suspects the child's father is Alan, so she asks the general manager's daughter Zhi-Zhi to seduce Alan into bed. Alan indeed takes the bait and starts howling like a wolf, revealing his true nature. The truth comes out: Alan is the father of Lu-Ting's child, not Xiao-Xiong. And Xiao-Xiong and Xiao-Xia finally become husband and wife at their fourth wedding.
