Description:
Adapted from Shi Jing's novel of the same name. Once, Jiang Xue-Ning had no one to rely on. To protect herself and out of greed, she stopped at nothing to seize power, scheming relentlessly until she became empress — but in doing so she trampled countless sincere hearts and turned her childhood friend, the young marquis, against her. Later, Xie Wei, the imperial tutor whose life she had once saved, stormed the palace and rebelled. In a single night everything collapsed: the emperor died, and Zhang Zhe, the upright and honest official she truly owed and cared for, was imprisoned because of her. Show more Fortunately, she is given a chance to be reborn. She will live openly and freely, owing nothing to anyone.
