Description:
In the early years of the Republic of China, the schemes of Japanese imperialism to invade China were becoming increasingly exposed. To undermine the influence of traditional Chinese martial arts among the people and clear the way, the "female demon" Kawashima Yoshiko begins to carry out the "vanguard plan" for the invasion of China. For a time, a murderous aura hung over the heartland of China, and the air was thick with blood. Lei Tong, master of the "Xingyi" martial arts school, who vows to defend the Chinese spirit and national integrity to the death, is admirable and deeply moving. Show more Kawashima Yoshiko is ruthless and dissolute, and her conduct is outrageous. Shi Long, heir to the "Wing Chun" fist, understands the greater cause, endures many dangers, and founds the martial arts school "Jeet Kune Do," writing a brilliant page in the history of Chinese martial arts. The film's lead, Shi Tianlong, bears a striking resemblance to the late martial arts master Bruce Lee. The China International Jeet Kune Do League he founded now has two hundred thousand members, and the Jeet Kune Do schools and training centers he has opened are spread across the country. The world's first instructional film on Jeet Kune Do, in which he serves as lecturer and demonstrator, was broadcast on China Central Television and shook the martial arts world at home and abroad, so closely do his looks and the spirit of his skills resemble a reincarnated Bruce Lee.
