Description:
In the seventh lunar month, the gates of hell swing wide open. On a small island, a terrifying legend has been passed down: years ago a woman died at exactly 23:59, and since then her vengeful spirit has never found peace, haunting the island. In the military camp there, the foul-mouthed Dragon (Lawrence Koh) tells these tales to his comrades, terrifying the weak and timid Tan (Tedd Chan). It turns out Tan once claimed to have seen the female ghost not long ago, and he is terrified of being brutally killed. Show more But his story is not only mocked by his comrades — even his best friend Jeremy (Henley Xu) does not believe him. Soon the army is to hold a long march, and Sergeant Kuah (Mark Lee), a devout believer in gods and spirits, fears that on that day they will offend the "good friends" and begs for a postponement. Yet the officer who has returned from studying abroad refuses to grant it. That night, Tan dies a horrible death in the forest, causing a huge uproar among the soldiers.
