Description:
Exchange student Li Xiao-Li (Xie Cheng-Ze) arrives in a remote corner of Tokyo, Yuanye-Bian, for a year of study. Awkward and taciturn, he desperately wants a part-time job but keeps hitting dead ends, until an old classmate, Qiu Qiu (Qiu Tian), helps him find work at a Chinese restaurant. Acting manager Guan Wei (Qi Xi) takes him in and looks after him, waiter Qing Mu (Niu Chao) sees him as a rival in love, while head chef Lao Wan (Chen Yong-Zhong) and junior chef Song (Song Ning) pay him little mind... Show more Li Xiao-Li's arrival breaks the silence of the basement floor and draws him into each of their lives. Time slips by in an instant. Before the next spring arrives, some will stay and some will leave, and where will those newly formed bonds — "limited kinship, temporary friendship, something like love" — lead?
