Description:
After the death of Yu Wan-Ting, leader of the Red Flower Society, Chen Jia-Luo (Huang Hai-Bing), the second son of Chen Shi-Guan, takes over as its chief. Chen Jia-Luo's origins are shrouded in mystery: it is even possible that the reigning Emperor Qian Long (Wang Wei-Guo) is his brother. After much maneuvering and negotiation, Qian Long finally agrees to sign the terms for expelling the Qing and restoring the Ming. Yet at this very moment, Prince He conspires with the imperial harem to seize the throne. Feeling his position threatened, Qian Long betrays Chen Jia-Luo, deciding to focus first on keeping his crown. This fills Chen Jia-Luo and the Red Flower Society with fury.
Meanwhile, two young beauties, Huo Jing-Tong (Wang Jin-Hua) and the Aroma Princess (Ophelia Yang), appear at the side of Qian Long and Chen Jia-Luo, and a tangled love quadrangle begins to unfold. Faced with love, politics and self-interest, what choices will Chen Jia-Luo and Qian Long make?
