Description:
Yan Di (Hao Yi-Ping) had just won the war against the demons when he was suddenly attacked by Fumo and trapped beneath the Demon-Subduing Stone. The heavenly spirit Fumo, Yi He (Zhang Tian-Shu), stole Yan Di's Sunlight Divine Mirror, killed Xing Tian (Nicky Wu) and wounded Kua Fu (Wen Hai-Bo). The wounded Kua Fu rescued Xing Tian's son Hou Yi (Li Jie) and fled beneath the Northern Dark Sea. Before his death, Xing Tian's divine power had already condensed within Hou Yi's body, and only Hou Yi could ever defeat Yi He. Show more Yi He deceived the gods, claiming that Yan Di had been trapped by Xing Tian in the Flame Valley and would suffer a thousand-year tribulation. Having pulled off this substitution, Yi He became the Heavenly Emperor, yet he always feared the escaped Kua Fu and Hou Yi. Concealing his inner guilt, he outwardly doted on Yan Di's daughter Jing Wei (Jennifer Shu). The Wind Goddess, Western queen (Jia Ya), fearing that Jing Wei might meet with foul play, kept her by her side at the Jade Pond. A thousand years later, Hou Yi had become a master archer, and Jing Wei had discerned who were truly friends and who were foes.
