Description:
Love is not a game, so there are no rules, and no winner can be decided. This is an urban love story centered on three women: Wu Man, Li Mei-Hao, and Lin He-Ping. Under one roof live three generations bearing different surnames yet bound by blood...
Wu Man runs a "matchmaking agency" that is doing excellent business. She has paired up thousands of couples and even given media interviews, becoming a veritable super matchmaker. Yet her greatest regret is that her daughter and granddaughter have never found love.
Li Mei-Hao is Wu Man's daughter. Her husband left for distant parts and has not been heard from since, and together with Wu Man she raised her daughter Lin He-Ping. In everyday life, these three generations—old, middle-aged, and young—are constantly bickering and quarreling over small things, revealing their different views on love. But when faced with life's pressures and setbacks, they stand closely together, showing the gentle yet resilient side of women.
Lin He-Ping is a beautiful architect with a thoroughly tomboyish personality. Although she comes from a "family of matchmakers," love has always passed her by. Then, at a bidding meeting, she meets the greatest nemesis of her life—Fan Zong-Wei. Because of a series of misunderstandings and conflicts, they are forced to work together yet remain utterly incompatible. Every meeting threatens to spark a world war, with tempers flaring and shrapnel flying, and everyone around them suffers.
Although the main storyline unfolds around the theme of "love," it explores more deeply the good and evil of human nature.
The story centers on three women—Lin He-Ping, Li Mei-Hao, and Wu Man. The men around them are some gentle and romantic, some hot-tempered yet devoted, and there are also friends with distinctive personalities: the henpecked Fu Sheng, the proud and arrogant Zhu Jing, the internet genius Shen Xiao-Yan, the gossip-loving Mei Yi who thrives on rumors, and the honest, devoted plumber Yang Zhi-Ming... and many more. Such a colorful cast of men and women builds a warm, romantic world that is also genuinely moving.
Amid an elegant and refined dramatic atmosphere, this series not only carries a certain inspirational and educational significance, but also strives to lead the moral trends of a new era and to become an excellent work that audiences enjoy and that is suitable for the whole family to watch.
