Qian Jin Bang Jia An 千金绑架案

Description:

Police chief Shen Yun-He has just been awarded a gold medal when he learns that his daughter Lan-Ling has been kidnapped. The kidnappers' purpose is strange — they want no money. They only say that Shen Yun-He is guilty and must atone by following their instructions. Again and again, over the phone, they demand that Shen Yun-He commit unlawful acts. Shen Yun-He's situation grows more and more difficult: he loses his post as chief, loses the support of his colleagues, and is despised by the citizens who once loved and trusted him. And his daughter, it seems, will never come back.
Shen Yun-He is framed and thrown into prison, where he endures every kind of torment. There he meets a familiar stranger — A Qi, the former boyfriend of his elder daughter Lan-Xiu. Thanks to A Qi, he finally understands that this kidnapping is revenge — revenge for a tragedy caused by an accident ten years ago! The kidnapper is none other than A Qi's younger brother, A Liang! Yet the story is not over: A Liang lets Shen Yun-He understand how everything came to pass, but does not tell him how it will end. Shen Lan-Ling's life hangs by a thread.
