San Jin Shan Cheng 三进山城

Description:

The TV series "Three Entries into the Mountain City" is adapted from the film of the same name that was known to every household 50 years ago. It tells the story of 1943, when the Japanese invaders launched a sweep against the Langya Mountain base area. The main force of the Eighth Route Army broke out of the enemy's encirclement and moved to fight on the outer lines. In order to destroy the enemy's arms supplies, Eighth Route Army Company Commander Liu led his men into the mountain city three times, coordinating from within and without with Tan Tou, played by Tang Feichao, to attack Qiyang City and finally wipe out the enemy completely.
The series retains the film's main storyline of "Company Commander Liu Hongzhi of a certain Eighth Route Army unit leading his soldiers into the mountain city three times to crush the Japanese invaders' sweep plan," while adding elements of life and death, love, espionage, sacrifice, betrayal, and rescue. With a large number of action scenes, gunfight scenes, and psychological battles of wits, it strives to blend the red classic with the spirit of the times.
