The Times We Had 国民大生活

Description:

Wang Shu-Wang and Lu Lu met in Thailand. After a series of breathtaking events, they fell in love. Back home, the two prepared to marry, but both families opposed the union. Wang Shu-Wang gave up his career in Beijing, moved to Shanghai and opened a ceramics shop, hoping to prove to Lu Lu's family that he could give her a better life. Lu Lu's parents still believed Wang Shu-Wang and Lu Lu were not suited to each other and refused to agree to the marriage. Zhao Yan, Wang Shu-Wang's stepsister, also came to Shanghai several times and even quarreled with Lu Lu's mother, Jiang Miao-Yin. This delayed the wedding once again. The love between Lu Lu and Wang Shu-Wang was constantly tested by blows and trials from both families.
Lu Lu, a screenwriter, had always pursued success in her career, while Wang Shu-Wang longed for a pastoral life. Through work, Lu Lu met the big star Chun Yu-Qiu. On the surface, Chun Yu-Qiu seemed to have it all, but in fact he had hidden the truth that he had once married and divorced for the sake of his career. Only when his ex-wife Zhu Zhu gave birth to a child and caused a scene at Chun Yu-Qiu's film press conference did the story become public. With Lu Lu's guidance, Chun Yu-Qiu accepted the child. He and Lu Lu worked on a film together, and his career entered a new phase.
