Description:
Li Ke-Le (Yu En-Tai) and four unreliable college buddies founded the "Lights Searching for People" agency, but business is dismal. He borrows his landlord Liu Xiong-Mao's (Gao Ya-Lin) Mercedes to put on a show and pick up his flight-attendant girlfriend Qing-Qing (Crystal Wang Lan-Fei), only to be dumped because he failed to buy her the limited-edition designer bag she wanted. When he finally gets his own Benben back, he rear-ends policewoman Kang Hong's (Tan Zhuo) patrol car, sparking a misunderstanding. Show more
When Li Ke-Le learns from the newspaper that a dying billionaire — former Nationalist Army major and current Malayan shipping magnate Mr. Zhuang Yi-Gui (Lin Dong-Fu) — is offering a huge reward to find his long-lost grandson, Li Ke-Le leads his employees into the ranks of the "relative-seekers." After countless hardships and endless laughs, just when he thinks he has finally closed in on the target and found that "Zhuang grandson," he discovers he has stumbled into a massive con. With no way out, he has no choice but to keep the scam going. Though the con succeeds, his blind hunger for money — and Qing-Qing's own craving for wealth — drives her into the arms of the "fake grandson."
In the end the scam is exposed, and the policewoman Kang Hong, who has been tailing him all along, personally joins the investigation. In a chase that pits the scholar against the soldier, the constant clashes between him and Kang Hong turn them into an odd-couple pair of lovers. Ultimately, Li Ke-Le discovers that the "grandson act" he has been searching for so desperately is actually
