Description:
Cui Xi is a plastic surgeon who, thanks to her exquisite skill and superb technique, enjoys an outstanding reputation in the field. From celebrities of every stripe to ordinary folk, patients come to her for surgery in an endless stream. A-Mei is a waitress at a restaurant who, because of her plain looks, has suffered no small number of setbacks in life and at work. The experiences she has had from childhood on have made one thing clear to her: this is a world that judges by the face, and beauty decides destiny. Show more So A-Mei makes up her mind, seeks out Cui Xi, and begs her to help her win a new life.
After investigation and study, Cui Xi draws up for A-Mei a long, long list of the parts that need surgery, unprecedented in number, and she repeatedly warns A-Mei of the risks and consequences the operations may bring. But A-Mei is dead set on becoming beautiful, and Cui Xi has no choice but to grit her teeth and get on the operating table. Yet life after the surgery fails to turn out as wonderful as A-Mei imagined, and one problem after another begins to arise.
