Description:
Jessica, a graduate school alumna, works in the marketing department of an interior design company. Now that her career is a success, Jessica, nearing thirty, wants to marry her boyfriend Kevin, whom she has dated for eight years, but Kevin puts the marriage on the back burner, citing his career as not yet established. To win back a contract for the company, the boss sends Jessica and a colleague from the engineering department to Suzhou for one last effort. She expected a seasoned engineer to accompany her, but the one sent was a young man of only twenty-three named Wen Kai. Show more
Although Wen Kai is only a technical school graduate, and although at the negotiating table he always contradicted Jessica, the eventual success of the negotiations made Jessica change her view of Wen Kai, and she wanted to find a suitable opportunity to apologize to him for her prejudice. From then on, a series of coincidences seemed like fate deliberately offering Jessica and Wen Kai the chance to fall in love. Her ex-boyfriend's betrayal, sharing a ride in the rain after work, a chance encounter at a blind date in the aquarium — all these slowly made Wen Kai fall in love with Jessica.
After all, there was an age gap. After Jessica accidentally sprained her ankle while rock climbing, the club's director Su launched a romantic offensive on Jessica.
