Description:
Tribe of College Girls follows female university graduates who go to the countryside to serve as "village officials." To change the backward face of rural areas, a certain city selects large numbers of university students as "village officials" to work in the countryside. Five young women with different backgrounds arrive in five neighboring villages, and in the course of their work as "village officials" they run into all kinds of difficulties. With the help of Liu Shi, secretary of the township Party committee, they investigate village life in depth, figuring out what the people need most and what they themselves can do. Through a series of conflicts and clashes, the five female "officials" gradually build deep friendships with the farmers, and with the help of the township Party committee they make their own contributions, finding happiness and a sense of worth — and some even find precious love.
