Every Boy Wants A Bicycle 男孩都想有辆车

Description:

High schooler Xia Yu (Vincent Lin Xiao-Fan) is forever lost in wonderful dreams, because in them he owns an extreme mountain bike of his own. The boys in his class envy Xia Yu, since the pretty class beauty Xiao Xue (Wang Xi-Wei) never leaves his side. His classmate Wang Hai-Ming (Addy Wang Wei) has an American-made mountain bike. The two compete in extreme sports, and in the end Xia Yu loses to Wang Hai-Ming, which lets Wang Hai-Ming show off in front of Xiao Xue, who is watching the contest. During summer vacation, to avoid putting new financial strain on his mother, Xia Yu signs up for free swimming lessons and, on the recommendation of his classmate Zhui Zi (Duan Bowen), finds a job as a same-city courier. And so Xia Yu spends his mornings cleaning at the swimming pool, earning ten yuan each time, his afternoons delivering packages, and his evenings practicing extreme biking skills with Zhui Zi. By the end of the summer, clutching the 780 yuan he earned from work, he rushes excitedly to a bicycle shop. Will he be able to make his wish come true?
