Youngster Catch The Snake 捕蛇少年

Description:

Shui Sheng, who lives with relatives in Xiaowu Village, longs day after day to return to Qingya Mountain and be with the New Fourth Army, and with his father, a company commander in the New Fourth Army. However, the Japanese and puppet troops stationed in Qiaotou Village of Daqiao Town have had Qingya Mountain under siege for more than half a year, so Shui Sheng has no choice but to stay in Xiaowu Village indefinitely, keeping company with his boastful and cowardly "grand-uncle" A Fu and a bunch of naive, childish youngsters.
Our underground party member in the county town, after untold hardships, obtained a defense map of the Japanese and puppet troops besieging Qingya Mountain. Uncle Li, a member of the underground party, tried to secretly go up the mountain with this defense map so that the New Fourth Army at Baihu Mountain could seize the chance to break out. Just then, Japanese squad leader Yoshida also got wind of it and ordered puppet company commander Ding Ge to take Damazi and several puppet soldiers and intercept the defense map at all costs.
When Uncle Li passed through Xiaowu Village, he was ambushed by Ding Ge and his men, and happened to run into Shui Sheng playing at the edge of the village. Before he died, Uncle Li handed the defense map to Shui Sheng and told him he must deliver it to Qingya Mountain. Ding Ge and his men gave chase, and Shui Sheng used his knowledge of the terrain to run circles around the enemy. At the critical moment, A Fu stepped forward to help, and the two youngsters managed to escape.
Shui Sheng explained the situation to A Fu and said he had to take the defense map to Qingya Mountain.
