Zui Hou De Jing Li 最后的敬礼

Description:

On January 22, 2006, during the Guangdong police's province-wide crackdown and rectification campaign known as "Operation Eagle," Li Wei, worn out by overwork, collapsed on the job. His comrades rushed him to the hospital for emergency treatment. Li Wei had been a police officer for over 20 years—diligent, uncomplaining, and unremarkable—but his collapse touched the hearts of his superiors, comrades, and loved ones with deep sorrow.
His daughter, Li Jing-Yi, a high school student, suddenly grew up as she watched her father's life hang in the balance. Reflecting on his actions, she came to appreciate his greatness in the smallest details. Li Wei was transferred from Luohu Police Station to Bao'an Shangchuan Police Station, from the most bustling area to one with complex public security. Even his parents thought it was a punishment posting, but Li Wei told them it was the organization's trust. Bao'an had once been one of the most chaotic areas in Shenzhen's public security. In his jurisdiction, there were hundreds of thousands of migrant workers and hundreds of enterprises, and the crime rate had remained high. Upon taking office, Li Wei led dozens of police officers in round-the-clock efforts, bringing stability and peace to the previously chaotic area, and his work performance ranked first in the sub-bureau. Once, two scrap dealers had a dispute over profit sharing that escalated into a violent fight with knives and guns, nearly causing fatalities.
