Description:

The Wang family shoe shop provides embroidered shoes to the worshippers at the Town God's Temple seeking blessings for family happiness; but tonight, the embroidered shoes were stolen by a demon... Wu Ying-Luan comes to the Town God's Temple, hoping the Town goddess will bless her noodle-selling husband Huang A-Tu to earn good money and support the family, so their children and father-in-law can live well, yet she doesn't even get a pair of embroidered shoes to pray for. Wang Li-Shu, the eldest daughter of the Wang family shoe shop, brings embroidered shoes as an offering to the Town God's Temple and sees her former maid Ying-Luan, worried that she married poorly, but Ying-Luan stubbornly denies it, saying she is very happy! A-Tu always cooks noodles slowly and carefully but is criticized for being slow, and because the weather is hot, no one wants to eat noodle soup. His good friend Zhang Zheng-Nan, the Wang family's son-in-law, brings his wife Li-Shu and leads the employees to support A-Tu's noodle stall. Ying-Luan brings tea for A-Tu, nagging him fiercely, and Zheng-Nan discovers embroidered shoes in the basket. Li-Shu immediately realizes that Ying-Luan was pretending to be happy before? The two couples return home, each facing different hardships and sorrows... The Town goddess and Town god make a bet, letting A-Tu wear the embroidered shoes and return to three years ago when he didn't know Ying-Luan. How will A-Tu choose his new life!?
