Zhao Bu-You is a lowly clerk at the bottom rung of the Grand Court of Judicial Review, longing only for an ordinary, peaceful life, while his wife Wen Yue dreams of nothing but buying a house and land. The family bickers constantly yet lives in harmony and joy. One accident draws them into the sensational Plum Boat case, launching a wondrous journey of solving all kinds of mysterious crimes while tackling endless family problems. Along the way, the family rediscovers and accepts one another, each grows in their own way, and together they overcome one obstacle after another.
