Description:
Beneath the nightless city of Luoyang in the Tang Dynasty, spirits of cat demons roam, stealing human skins, inviting people to dance, and sharing their feelings. In a dance hall, a rich young man meets again the love of his childhood dreams. Is it the familiar skin that enchants him, or the burning heart of a century-old cat beneath it? In the mortuary, a black cat with a severed tail begs for the rebirth of her former benefactor. What awaits her — a lifelong love, or a whirlpool of desire and betrayal? In the gutter, a mouse essence falls in love with a kitten demon. Is he yearning for self-destruction on the path to happiness, or for a love song that rewrites fate?
