Description:
In the Shanghai French Concession, three murders occur in succession. Three victims who seem to have no connection to each other all share the same name: Zhong Ming. The killer is skilled in using poisoned hidden weapons and joint-locking combat, and possesses extremely high psychological resilience—likely a cold-blooded assassin with exceptional deadly skills. Tiger Inspector Zhong Lang (Ray Lui Leung-Wai), along with Yu Sheng-Nan (Li Ruo-Si), Kang Hua-Sheng (Xu Liang), and Hong Xiao-Ya (Ma Can-Can), launch a joint investigation, and the preliminary results arouse deep suspicion in Zhong Lang. It turns out that he once worked undercover in the gang "Panlongtan" using the alias Zhong Ming, and his intuition tells him the killer is coming for him. The investigation reveals that the killer is in the advanced stages of tuberculosis and, with little time left, seems determined to use his remaining days to kill Zhong Ming as his enemy, stopping at nothing to kill indiscriminately. Following the trail, Zhong Lang indeed discovers that these cases are connected to a series of events from his undercover days.
