Hequ Horse 河曲马

Description:

Hequ Horse is the first Tibetan-language film produced by Qinghai Radio and Television Station.
Centered on the fate of a champion horse from the Naadam races, the film tells of the exchange and fusion between traditional grassland horse culture and modern equestrian culture. While showcasing the inheritance and development of grassland horse culture, it also deliberately portrays the era's characteristic of ethnic cultures developing together, and the cultural trend of mutual coexistence and mutual interpenetration. The creation and shooting of this film not only placed it at the forefront of domestic film and television works reflecting horse culture, but also allows audiences, while drawn in by the story, to appreciate the millennia-long history of the Hequ horse-riding culture that nurtures greatness within the ordinary, leaving them shaken, moved, and thoughtful.
