The Bell 七宝传奇之氽来神钟

Description:

Legend has it that during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, a corner of Jiangnan suffered from the Tyrant Tide, with endless floods and waters rising to the heavens. The people were displaced and lived in unbearable misery. Qian Liu, ruler of the Wuyue kingdom, joined the local people in fighting the disaster and protecting their homes. Their spirit moved heaven and earth, and a "Divine Bell with a Dragon's Voice" drifted in by water and arrived at Qibao Town. The waters receded, and from then on Qibao Town grew even more famous, prosperous and wealthy, becoming a renowned town in Jiangnan.
The local people regarded the divine bell as a treasure, built a bell tower, and placed it inside. Because it had come floating on the water, it was named the "Water-Borne Bell" and passed down from generation to generation. Time flowed on, and in the blink of an eye four hundred years had passed. One spring day, the great painter and calligrapher Zhao Meng-Ran was ordered to come to Qibao to seek out the beauties of Jiangnan and collect strange tales and anecdotes. Zhao Meng-Ran was deeply captivated by Qibao's beautiful scenery and its folk legends full of wonder, and lingered there, unable to leave. But he did not expect that from the day he arrived in Qibao Town, he had already unknowingly become involved in a long-planned conspiracy.
