Description:

Esports player Xiao Yi-Chuan returns home after treatment for a hand injury. At the airport, he meets Xiong Jiu-Jiu, a senior student who is beating up her "fake boyfriend" Huo Ran. Xiao Yi-Chuan recognizes Xiong Jiu-Jiu as his online friend of three years. They once missed each other due to an unfortunate misunderstanding, and now, three years later, they meet again by chance. Because Xiong Jiu-Jiu beat up Huo Ran, she draws a game challenge from his girlfriend Fang Wen-Wen. On the advice of her friend Hong Yang, Xiong Jiu-Jiu decides to ask Xiao Yi-Chuan for help in the match. Xiao Yi-Chuan still resents Xiong Jiu-Jiu for breaking their promise back then, yet he still has feelings for this girl. During the match, he wants to use the opportunity to get closer to her, but his stubborn pride won't let him give in, and their conflict only deepens—they part on bad terms.
Because of this match, Xiong Jiu-Jiu catches the attention of the young boss of Geek Sports, the Director. He forcibly recruits Xiong Jiu-Jiu into Geek as the manager of an esports team, demanding that she form a team and must invite Xiao Yi-Chuan to join. Carrying this political task, Xiong Jiu-Jiu, while scheming against Xiao Yi-Chuan, keeps getting to know him better.
Xiong Jiu-Jiu's childhood friend Chu Tian sensitively senses the crisis after Xiao Yi-Chuan appears. Chu Tian proves himself with outstanding results and applies to join the team, hoping to protect Xiong Jiu-Jiu in his own way. Xiao Yi-Chuan looks at this rival with complicated feelings.
