Lang Ting-Ting, newly transferred to the hospital, is very fond of Wang Ye-Wen, and deputy director Lu Kan acts as a matchmaker. Young female surgeon Jiang Ling has long harbored a secret crush on Wang Ye-Wen. Though Wang Ye-Wen, just emerging from his troubles, devotes himself entirely to his patients, the beautiful and pure Jiang Ling gradually wins his heart. Show more The efforts made on Lang Ting-Ting's behalf come to nothing, and she decides to take matters into her own hands. When Wang Ye-Wen works the night shift, Lang Ting-Ting often comes to keep him company. She buys two tickets to a song-and-dance performance and invites Wang Ye-Wen to the theater, but he gives the tickets to Xiao Cao, the canteen manager, and rushes off to the ward to save a patient. Seeing Jiang Ling interfering, Lang Ting-Ting draws closer to Wang Ye-Wen without restraint. But despite all her scheming, Wang Ye-Wen never has any intention of becoming a pair of lovebirds with her. Realizing the difficulty, Lang Ting-Ting retreats, and through Wang Ye-Wen's clever arrangement, she ends up with Xiao Cao, the canteen manager. Two months later, Wang Ye-Wen and Jiang Ling, along with Xiao Cao and Lang Ting-Ting, hold a joint wedding at a hotel.
