Description:
Adapted from the serialized novel "Raising the Husband and Child Together" by Ai Lili on Douban Reading.
Liao Sha is an elite in the sales world, a woman with a strong personality who can always overcome every obstacle and push her way to the top. But at home, Liao Sha must face her easygoing husband, Fang Cheng. Fang Cheng has worked for years yet remains an ordinary technician. Liao Sha has always been one step ahead of Fang Cheng, becoming the pillar of the family. But a twist of fate costs Liao Sha a promotion and lands her in the community relations department, sending her career into a sharp decline. Fang Cheng then begins working hard to earn money, and the family dynamic built over the years is quietly broken — yet it also gives the two a chance to see things from each other's perspective. Through adversity, the couple crosses threshold after threshold and endures one trial after another, emerging from the shadows of life. Liao Sha once again enjoys a shining moment in her career, while Fang Cheng, to take care of their child, voluntarily resigns and becomes a full-time stay-at-home dad — and the family model shifts once more. Amid the ups and downs of their relationship and status, Liao Sha reflects on the harm her "wolf-like" nature has done to their marriage and learns to appreciate her husband's philosophy of life. The two also come to understand that a couple need not determine who is stronger or weaker — finding a way to be at peace with each other is the true key to happiness.
