Description:
The story follows policewoman Meng Shu-Tong, who discovers a flaw in what appears to be an accident and concludes it was murder. Strangely, the suspect has no time to have committed the crime. Peeling back layer after layer, she finally finds the true culprit behind the scenes and also solves the cold case of her own father's murder twenty years ago. As the English judge Lord Hewitt once said: "Justice may be late, but it is never absent." But what she never expected was that the real culprits had all once been victims themselves. In the choice between emotion and law, Meng Shu-Tong chooses the latter, because only the law can defend true justice!
