Lin Jia De Hai Zi 邻家的孩子

Description:

Miss Lee (Leung Chung-Yan) is a primary school teacher. At school she encounters a little girl who is very unkempt and even snatches food from other classmates. At first she punishes her with copying lines, but later realizes the girl cannot manage even basic cleanliness, and she becomes eager to visit her home to find out more. In fact, it is not only the schoolchildren who have problems: there is also a child in her own family with a different set of troubles. Miss Lee's brother and his wife have a son (Leung Jun-Git) who was placed in the care of his grandmother — Miss Lee's mother (Li Xuan) — from an early age. Over time he grew used to his grandmother's spoiling and does not like going back to live with his parents. And even the neighbor's child has yet another different problem: he is being abused by his mother (Mable Lau Siu-Fong). Every child is in fact a blank sheet of paper, and for a good future, the way they are taught and raised now is especially important.
