Elegy for Love 情殇

Description:

Lin Huan (Xu Fan), the planning director of the NASA Club, is a beautiful and intelligent woman. But her husband, violinist Li Bin (Wen Hai-Tao), has become a vegetative patient confined to bed after an accident. To treat her husband, Lin Huan works desperately to earn money. Yet when her former employer refuses to pay the huge medical bills, her situation grows increasingly difficult. At this moment, two men appear in her life: one is Liang Tian-Cheng (Zhao Bao-Gang), general manager of a decoration company; the other is piano tuner Zu-Qiang (Liu Xiao-Ning), who secretly loves her. To help Lin Huan through hard times, Zu-Qiang sells his property and raises funds at any cost. Lin Huan is deeply moved by him, and true love grows between them in adversity. Since the money is still not enough for the emergency, in desperation Zu-Qiang asks Liang Tian-Cheng for help. The two strike a deal: Liang Tian-Cheng pays Zu-Qiang 200,000 yuan for the emergency, and Lin Huan must move into his villa. Helpless, Lin Huan accepts the arrangement of fate. She becomes friends with Liang Tian-Cheng's daughter, but politely declines Liang Tian-Cheng's affection, because she still cannot let go of Zu-Qiang in her heart. To repay the debt, Zu-Qiang risks his life working as a stunt double and a construction worker, while Liang Tian-Cheng secretly lends him a hand. At last, he is able to "redeem" Lin Huan with dignity.
