Fa Men Si Cai Xiang 法门寺猜想

Description:

Fa Men Si Cai Xiang tells the story of a couple's love across three lifetimes. In the Tang Dynasty, Princess Yuan fell in love with Jue Neng, a young monk at Fa Men Temple. Jue Neng later learned that he was a switched-at-birth prince, while the princess was the prime minister's daughter. In the end, Jue Neng burned himself alive to protect the Buddha's sacred relic. The princess also took her own life. The second life is the story of Yuan Mei, a tea seller, and Fu Neng, a goldsmith and silversmith. The two fell in love, but Yuan Mei caught the eye of a man of the foreign Tuo Ba clan, and Fu Neng, for the sake of the country and for Yuan Mei, had no choice but to go on a distant campaign against the Tuo Ba. In the third life, host Yuan Yuan and young historian Xiao Tang met while excavating Fa Men Temple. Xiao Tang wrote a screenplay titled Fa Men Si Cai Xiang for Yuan Yuan, and only later did Yuan Yuan realize that he might be the present incarnation of Princess Yuan and Yuan Mei. When he wanted to find Xiao Tang, Xiao Tang had already become a monk under the name Ke Neng and had gone far away.
