Description:
Young Zhu Yuan-Zhang grew up in poverty, yet was honest and brave by nature. Yet fate had more trials in store: at the Huangjue Temple he encountered a vicious monk and was forced to flee once more. His master Hai Dian told him he could seek out the hermit Liu Bo-Wen and plan a great undertaking together.
Before long, disaster befell the Huangjue Temple: the monastery was destroyed and its monks killed, and Zhu Yuan-Zhang set off alone to join the rebel army in Haozhou. The rebel leader Guo Zi-Xing was narrow-minded and jealous of talent. After many clashes, Zhu Yuan-Zhang broke away from Guo Zi-Xing, was acclaimed commander by the soldiers, and, joining forces with the wise Liu Bo-Wen, raised the banner of rebellion.
