Description:
Jinhu is a beautiful place, but its endless reeds and the drifting, wandering life on the water also make it an ideal hiding spot for all sorts of wanted criminals. The boat "Hui No. 5," worth several hundred thousand, has vanished along with its owner Chai Xinming and his son, leaving no trace; Shui Sheng, a fisherman who lives by the water, has lost his son Gou Dan to a mysterious poisoning... All this has cast a chilling, terrifying shadow over the already enigmatic Jinhu. Lu Zheng-Tao and Yang Jin lead their officers north to Anhui, making careful inquiries around Jinhu, peeling away layer after layer of disguise, gradually closing in and fixing their eyes on the Jinhu Water Transport Company and the Tourism Company.
