The Beauty Has Roughly 佳人有约

Description:

On the same day, Lin Ao-Xue and Chai Ming-Fang were each left at the altar by their other halves. A year later, they become sworn enemies over a guitar, yet both end up joining Xiongli Film and Television Company.
Following the male and female leads, Lin Ao-Xue and Chai Ming-Fang, a colorful portrait of modern urban men and women's emotions unfolds before us. Chai Ming-Fang's friend, the naturally flirtatious Zhuang Da-Wei, Lin Ao-Xue's best friend, flight attendant Gao Jie, the glamorous yet lonely star Tong Fei, and Xiong Yin-Yin, who dreams of catching a wealthy husband, along with the devoted Wen Guo-Hua, together paint the myriad emotional entanglements of modern city dwellers.
Lin Ao-Xue is quick-tempered and naive, while Chai Ming-Fang is calm and meticulous. Normally they see each other as difficult people to deal with, and worse still, Lin Ao-Xue and Chai Ming-Fang end up living in the same apartment by a twist of fate. But under certain pressure, they have to pretend to be a couple. And facing their jointly produced TV program "Beauty Has Roughly, The," they both harbor great passion.
Xiongli Company's art director Tang Na is sinister and manipulative, and she is the one who ran away from Chai Ming-Fang's wedding that year. On one hand, Tang Na maintains an ambiguous relationship with company general manager Wu Xi-Zhao, and on the other, she wants to rekindle things with Chai Ming-Fang. But seeing Chai Ming-Fang and Lin Ao-Xue acting like a couple, she becomes jealous and hires someone to take revenge on Lin Ao-Xue. When the scheme is exposed, Tang Na has to leave in disgrace. Meanwhile, Lin Ao-Xue and Chai Ming-Fang gradually discover each other's merits through their interactions and develop mutual feelings.
Lin Ao-Xue's ex-boyfriend Xu Zheng had an affair with Gao Jie before running away from the wedding, and Lin Ao-Xue was still in the dark. A year later, Xu Zheng finds Lin Ao-Xue, hoping to start over with her. Lin Ao-Xue also misunderstands that Chai Ming-Fang and Tang Na have rekindled their old flame. Just as she is about to marry Xu Zheng a second time, she learns about what happened between Xu Zheng and Gao Jie, and heartbroken, Lin Ao-Xue returns to her hometown.
Zhuang Da-Wei desperately pursues Gao Jie and even changes his flirtatious ways for her, but Gao Jie, feeling guilty toward Lin Ao-Xue, cannot accept new feelings. Meanwhile, Xu Zheng goes to Hong Kong to start a new life.
After resting in her hometown for a while, Lin Ao-Xue finally pulls herself together and returns to Xiongli Company. By then, Wen Guo-Hua and Xiong Yin-Yin have finally become a couple. But Lin Ao-Xue still doesn't dare accept Chai Ming-Fang's love. To force Lin Ao-Xue to speak her true feelings, Chai Ming-Fang decides to study abroad. But he doesn't hear the words she says to hold him back. The two seem about to part ways forever.
However, Chai Ming-Fang doesn't leave. A month later, the two meet again at the place where they first met. This time, they finally understand how much they need each other. And so this urban love fairy tale comes to a perfect close.
