Love Conceirge 爱的掌门人

Description:

Jiang Ru-Yi (Jacelyn Tay) runs a bridal shop and wedding planning service together with her mother, Xie Mei-Jiao (Nancy Sit). Xie Mei-Jiao was once a seamstress; after discovering that her husband, known to all as Si-Ge, had been unfaithful, she resolutely divorced him and single-handedly raised three daughters on the income from the bridal shop. The inventive Jiang Ru-Yi often gives customers delightful surprises, but she is scatterbrained and forgetful by nature, forever making blunders that Xie Mei-Jiao has to patch up. The second daughter, Jiang Ru-Qing (Ann Kwok), is an entertainer who inherited her mother's love of beauty and fine clothes. The youngest, Jiang Ru-Xin (Fiona Xie), is a top student with no interests beyond her books. Rational to a fault, she has never seen the world outside and is a little unsure of how it works.
Next door to the Jiang family live a father and son. The father, Guo Sen-Miao (Choo Hoh-Yim), is a feng shui master — stubborn and traditional, harsh in word but soft at heart. He and Xie Mei-Jiao are like two mismatched door gods, forever trading barbs! He keeps his son Sunny (Zhang Yao-Dong) on a very tight leash, hoping the boy will rise in the world and break the family's unlucky fate. Even back in university, Sunny was secretly working part-time as a model behind his father's back. Sunny, a favorite with the ladies, has plenty of women ready to do anything for him, yet he has fallen for Jiang Ru-Qing, who is a little older than he is. To get closer to her, he becomes a sworn brother to Jiang Ru-Xin. One day, for the wedding of Denise (Fu Fong-Ling), the female boss of a modeling agency, Jiang Ru-Yi travels to Japan to shoot a wedding photo album.
Denise makes endless demands and repeatedly puts Jiang Ru-Yi in a tight spot; she insists on changing the photographer, and Jiang Ru-Yi finally finds the charming and rakish photographer Lance (Alex To). The headstrong Lance casually agrees, then fails to show up on the day of the shoot. Fortunately, a student abroad, Qian Jie-Kuan (Thomas Ong), comes to the rescue and saves the day. Later Denise even calls off her wedding because of Lance, making Jiang Ru-Yi dislike him all the more. Before long, Denise announces she is getting married again! She asks Jiang Ru-Yi to plan the wedding once more, and Jiang Ru-Yi discovers that Denise's photographer is none other than Lance — and is furious. But Lance's photographs are hugely popular with clients, so Jiang Ru-Yi has no choice but to swallow her pride and keep putting up with him.
Lance has a makeup-artist girlfriend, Dai Chun-Chun (Apple Hong), who is utterly devoted to him. Dai Chun-Chun knows full well that Lance is a philanderer, yet she quietly waits for him, hoping he will come back to her. Jiang Ru-Yi deeply sympathizes with Chun-Chun's blind devotion and often helps Lance hide the truth from her. Later, Jiang Ru-Yi goes to a hotel for a cooking class and runs into Qian Jie-Kuan again, mistaking him for a hotel employee. In fact, Qian Jie-Kuan's father is a hotel tycoon, and after returning from his studies abroad, the young man is interning in every department of the hotel. Jiang Ru-Yi wrongly takes Qian Jie-Kuan for a restless junior employee who loves switching jobs; and Jie-Kuan, no lover of showing off his family background, is happy to keep his identity hidden.
Once, when Jiang Ru-Yi books a banquet for a client, she gets the date wrong; Qian Jie-Kuan secretly helps her out, and Jiang Ru-Yi is deeply grateful — a mutual attraction begins to grow. But Qian Jie-Kuan is indecisive in matters of the heart and never takes the next step, while Jiang Ru-Yi assumes that a man who cannot even settle on a job is no ideal husband to entrust her life to, and so she holds back. Jiang Ru-Qing is a second- or third-tier entertainer; to make it big, she schemes endlessly, building connections, stirring up news, and even staging a fake romance with a male star for headlines. But the more the story is hyped, the hotter it gets, and unexpectedly a sponsor offers to pay for her wedding; egged on by the male star, the two are ready to put on a whole show — a fake wedding and then a divorce! She asks Jiang Ru-Yi to arrange a lavish wedding, but in the middle of the preparations the male star suddenly backs out of the fake marriage, and Jiang Ru-Qing is trapped… Xie Mei-Jiao and Jiang Ru-Yi rush around trying to fix everything. When Qian Jie-Kuan learns of it, he secretly helps and solves the problem — only for Jiang Ru-Qing to accidentally discover that he is the son of a wealthy family!
Jiang Ru-Yi knows nothing of Jiang Ru-Qing's schemes and sincerely sympathizes with her sister, who was abandoned, indirectly creating many chances for her to be alone with Jie-Kuan. Qian Jie-Kuan quickly sees through Jiang Ru-Qing's intentions and tells her that his heart already belongs to someone else. Learning that Jie-Kuan's heart belongs to her elder sister, Jiang Ru-Qing deliberately hides his identity from Ru-Yi and begins to lay her plans. She starts courting Sunny's favor to get what she wants. Guo Sen-Miao accidentally discovers that Sunny has been working as a model, flies into a rage, and goes to confront Xie Mei-Jiao over Sunny and Jiang Ru-Qing! Yet Sunny secretly goes to Jiang Ru-Yi and asks her to help plan an ingenious proposal and wedding! Jiang Ru-Qing seizes a grand occasion attended by Jie-Kuan and publicly slaps Sunny as he walks the runway, playing the victim; moved to pity, Qian Jie-Kuan stays by her side, and she drugs him. Qian Jie-Kuan believes he and Ru-Qing have slept together and is filled with remorse. Later, Jiang Ru-Yi learns Qian Jie-Kuan's true identity and is furious. Just then Jiang Ru-Qing publicly announces her romance with Qian Jie-Kuan, and Jiang Ru-Yi is heartbroken! Jiang Ru-Yi accidentally discovers that Lance has secretly taken countless photographs of her, and realizes that Lance is in love with her! Meanwhile, Sunny has his heart broken, and Jiang Ru-Xin stays by his side; little by little, a spark kindles between them…
Qian Jie-Kuan wants to break up with Jiang Ru-Qing, and she threatens to kill herself. Jiang Ru-Yi rebukes Qian Jie-Kuan for his false affection and demands that he marry Jiang Ru-Qing. On the eve of the wedding, Jiang Ru-Yi learns from her mother everything Jiang Ru-Qing has done! Ru-Yi is torn: should she go on arranging this perfect wedding of the century for the little sister she loves?
Just then, Xie Mei-Jiao brings out the wedding dress she painstakingly sewed for Jiang Ru-Yi.
