The End of the Princess 末路皇妃

Description:

In 1912, just after the New Year, the Ye family, who had practiced medicine for generations, prepared to send their daughter Ye Hui-Xin to the palace to become a concubine of Emperor Xuantong. But halfway there, the group learned that the emperor had already issued an abdication edict. Hearing the news, Father Ye was overcome with grief and rage, coughed up blood, and died, leaving only Ye Hui-Xin and one loyal maid. The two packed their belongings, preparing to escort the coffin back to their hometown. But unexpectedly, word spread like wildfire that the "last imperial concubine" was wandering in Dongzhou. When the young marshal Long Fei, who had controlled Dongzhou for years, learned of this, he immediately sent dozens of his men to seize her. And the bandit leader who killed without blinking—Xue Lang—also wanted to abduct her to be his wife. Thus, the two became locked in a struggle over Ye Hui-Xin. So what kind of ordeal will the helpless Ye Hui-Xin face?
