Yan Se Sha Ji 颜色杀机

Description:

Late at night, model Miao Qing-Hong was murdered in one of the art academy's studios, startling Professor Chen Tian-Hua, who was in another studio copying "The Cursed Eye." Inspector Li and Ruo Nan were sent from the police station to investigate the case. Zhang Lan, also a professor at the academy, mentioned that Miao Qing-Hong had once been the top courtesan of a brothel, and that Chen Tian-Hua, admiring her artistic talent, made an exception to let her enter the academy. These conversations aroused Ruo Nan's suspicions about Chen Tian-Hua.
Before the case was solved, Zhang Lan died mysteriously at home, and for a time panic spread through the campus. Just then, the killer issued a challenge to Ruo Nan via a note. Ruo Nan judged that the killer would strike again, and hurriedly gathered the students into the grand auditorium, but the students, full of resentment, eventually all ran out.
The murder indeed happened again: the killer poisoned the food in the cafeteria, and five students collapsed from poisoning. After all-out rescue efforts, only one student named He Dan remained in a coma. At this point, everyone noticed that the names of the successive victims all contained colors: Miao Qing-Hong (red), Zhang Lan (blue)... This reminded everyone of "The Cursed Eye." It was said that the art academy was originally built on the site of a prince's mansion. In those years, a painter invited by the prince had a forbidden love affair with the princess.
