Lifetime Love 真爱一生

Description:

The 37-episode TV series Lifetime Love is set in the era of the Republic of China. It tells the story of He Feng, a tea tycoon, who travels to Shanghai — a city where gold lies everywhere — to save He Le. On his road to success he faces countless obstacles, but through unremitting effort he finally becomes a tea tycoon. Yet the love between He Feng and Wang Xi is full of twists and turns. First, Wang Xi's parents oppose it; then Ye Zi-Jue, chairman of the Ye trading house who has long been in love with Wang Xi, schemes against them. Just when He Feng and Wang Xi, this devoted couple, are about to be united, Wang Xi is stricken with an incurable disease. In the end, on an evening as the sun sets in the west, a man in a flowing Tang-style robe sits before Wang Xi's grave — it is He Feng, now a tea tycoon. With a blissful smile he closes his eyes, and colorful butterflies cover his whole body, as if Wang Xi had turned into a butterfly and never left his side.
