Description:
In a beautiful coastal city in Fujian, a small inn, riding the tailwind of the government's encouragement of the "three mini-links," does a brisk and thriving business. While providing convenience to people on both sides of the strait, the inn also plays host to many touching stories. The innkeeper, Cai Jin-Long, is a veteran of the Battle of Kinmen. He works hard to run the inn and intends for his son Cai Jie-Fang and daughter-in-law Du Li-Na to take over the business. Unexpectedly, the couple ends up divorcing but still living under the same roof. With the arrival of Chen Shi-Xiang, a manager of a Taiwanese shipping company, all the balance in the inn is shattered, and Chen Shi-Xiang and Du Li-Na finally become a couple. The stories of the other members of the inn are just as fascinating. Du Li-Na's brother is forever a hero who cannot resist a beauty, until he finally discovers that his true love has been right beside him all along: Fang Yi-Yi, who sings in the inn's bar. Lai Mu-Gua, who handles the inn's food supply, also finally realizes his dream of becoming a chef and, to everyone's surprise, marries Xiao Zhi-Ling. Ships come and go, and the stories never end.
