Scarlet Rose 2 血色玫瑰2之女子别动队

Description:

Directed by the renowned filmmaker Yu Li-Qing, the large-scale anti-Japanese drama "Scarlet Rose 2: Women's Commando" tells the story of the women's commando unit of the Longhu Mountain anti-Japanese guerrilla brigade — how they fought the Japanese in bloody battle and ultimately foiled the enemy's germ warfare plot. In 1939 the War of Resistance entered a stalemate. To effectively destroy and pin down the Japanese secret service and the traitor forces serving Japan, the commando unit led by Communist Party member Lu Mei penetrated deep behind enemy lines. One after another, the unit completed extraordinarily difficult missions: seizing a treasure map, intercepting "Unit 731" germ samples, protecting national cultural relics, smuggling out penicillin, capturing the codebook of the secret service, and rescuing important figures — earning indelible merit for the great cause of national unity in the War of Resistance. And the different identities, different pasts and different temperaments of the commando members gave rise to many emotional entanglements among them. The clash of national duty and personal vendetta; the tangle of patriotic feeling and romantic love; the complex situation of Nationalist-Communist cooperation and the interplay of the "white" and "black" factions — all this makes the story dazzling and gripping.
