Ao Xiao Jiang Hu 傲啸江湖

Description:

Long before the rise of Shaolin, Wudang, Emei and other great schools, the leader of the Tianzhu Sect, Linghu Xiao, known as the "Number One Demon Under Heaven," sought to dominate the martial world. He was stopped by Si-Ma Ao, known as the "Number One Man Under Heaven." The two agreed to duel atop Mount Taiwei, but in the end Linghu Xiao was moved by Si-Ma Ao's "uprightness and magnanimity," and both retired from the martial world.

Twenty years later, Si-Ma Ao's son Si-Ma Zong-Heng (Ku Kuan-Chung) and Jin Xiao-Huan (Max Mok), the young master of the richest family under heaven, join forces to "right every wrong under heaven," setting off a tale of struggle for supremacy over the martial world among the great schools. Du Ziyu, chief of Liangjia Fortress; Mu-Rong Mei, head of the Chrysanthemum School; Zhuge Juelun, master of Zhuge Manor (the Netherfire Society); Si-Tu Ping, leader of the Tianzhu Sect; and other martial arts masters each bring their skills to bear for the sake of the "Tianzhu Secret Art" and the throne of martial world leader, bringing calamity to the common people. In the end, Si-Tu Ping, relying on the most powerful technique of the "Tianzhu Secret Art" — the "Eighteen Tianzhu Strikes" — defeats Zhuge Juelun, who had mastered the "Netherfire Palm," and becomes the greatest demon of the martial world. Under such circumstances, Si-Ma Zong-Heng, with Linghu Xiao's help, masters Si-Ma Ao's "Diamond Palm" and "Divine Sun Swordplay," while Jin Xiao-Huan masters the "Tianshan Divine Art" of the Tianshan Divine Beggar. Finally the two join forces to defeat Si-Tu Ping and rid the martial world of a great menace. Peace returns once more, and the heroes at last win the hearts of their beauties. The story ends with Si-Ma Zong-Heng and Linghu Xiao's younger daughter Wan-Er (Ying Hsiao-Wei), and Jin Xiao-Huan and Linghu Xiao's elder daughter, Si-Tu Ping's adopted daughter Si-Tu Piao-Piao (Leanne Lau) — two couples — retiring from the martial world together.
