Young Did Not Fail 青春不言败

Description:

Set against the casino intrigues of Macau, the scheming world of business, the everyday trifles of ordinary folk, the emotional choices made under neon lights, the struggles of youth building their dreams, and the harsh realities of chasing aspirations, the series tells of the ups and downs, joys and sorrows of various lives.
The cast brings together outstanding stars from both sides of the strait and from three regions, including Li Jia, Jin Dong, and Liu Li-Qi. One of the female leads, the popular singer A Hong, is played by rising star Liu Li-Qi, known as the "mainland Xiao Qiang." Liu Li-Qi has portrayed Xiao Yu in "The Invincible Kindhearted," Shen Ru-Yun in "Love in the Vast Land," the white-haired Ying Gu in "The Legend of the Condor Heroes," and the innkeeper Jin Xiang-Yu in "My Own Swordsman," among others. Having successfully brought a wide range of characters to life, Liu Li-Qi each time thoughtfully conveys the vitality the role bestows, earning consistent praise from the industry and affection from audiences.
In "Young Did Not Fail," Li-Qi makes a dazzling transformation into A Hong, a popular singer with a checkered fate who captivates everyone, strong and independent, clever and quick-witted, daring to love and to hate. In the series, A Hong (played by Liu Li-Qi) wins the admiration of A Jian and the young gentleman Wu Zu-Zhi. The adoration and longing of many make her a radiant, widely watched singing star, yet she does not lose herself and holds fast to who she is.
